Biography
Grace graduated from Connecticut College with a BA in Dance and Sociology. During her time at the college, she interned in the Communications and Legislation departments at the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) and worked in the Connecticut College Office of Admission as a tour guide and senior interviewer. These two experiences ignited her passion for content creation and higher education. After graduating, she worked at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York as an Admissions Counselor and then served as an Assistant Director of Admissions before joining the Barnard Office of Admissions as a Senior Admissions Officer in 2021. Grace oversees the social media content design and distribution for @barnardadmissions and collaborates on written and print communications. In July 2021, Grace was appointed to the National Association for College Admission Counseling's Serving Next Generation College Counseling and Admission Professionals Committee. Outside of work, Grace enjoys cooking and baking and is an active member of her neighborhood's running club.

Fun Facts
Why did you choose to work at Barnard?
I got to know Barnard in a virtual setting, but I could tell already how vibrant the community was. There is this overwhelming kindness, intellectual curiosity, and drive that is exhibited in all members of Barnard, particularly in the college's mission to empower and embolden young women to become leaders in an ever-changing world.
What is your favorite book?
Can I have a fiction and a non-fiction pick? Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom and Bone Black by bell hooks.
Oh, and my current cookbook favorite is What's for Dessert? by Claire Saffitz.
What is your favorite thing to do in NYC?
I got into running recently and I love finding new spots to explore on my runs. Many of my favorite coffee shops and restaurants were discovered while I was on a run!
What is your favorite place on campus?
The quad! It feels like a little oasis in the midst of the city.
What is a random fun fact about yourself?
I got to be a recipe tester for my favorite TikTok chef as she wrote her first cookbook!
